Itinerary

Day 1, Royal Albert Hall

What better way to start Christmas than an evening of carols at the Royal Albert Hall? Enjoy a mix of traditional and modern festive favourites, with an orchestra, choir, presenter, soloist, and plenty of sing-along moments. It’s the ultimate way to celebrate the season.

We expect to arrive at our hotel around 14.00. After a pre-lunch drink and 3-course buffet, we will board the coach for an evening of carols at this prestigious destination. We have super seats booked in The Stalls, Section H. Please note the concert starts at 19.30 and we will be back at the hotel around 23.00.

Day 2, Victoria & Albert Museum

Departing around 09.30 we will make our way to the V&A. With over seven miles of inspiring galleries hosting unmissable exhibitions and extraordinary collections, there is something for everyone at this fascinating museum.

This history of the museum is a story like no other. From its early beginnings as a Museum of Manufactures in 1852, to the foundation stone laid by Queen Victoria in 1899, to today’s state-of-the-art galleries, the museum has constantly evolved in its collecting and public interpretation of art and design. Its collections span over 5,000 years of human creativity in virtually every medium, housed in one of the finest groups of Victorian and modern buildings in Britain.

The Natural History Museum and Science Museum are also nearby.

Booking your place

Two people sharing a twin or double room is £590 per person + £35 supplement for sole occupancy of a double room.

Travel arrangements

Departing Shrewsbury at 10.00 on Saturday 19 December and arriving back in Shrewsbury on Sunday 20 December at 19.30. All timings are provisional, are dependent upon traffic on the day and will be confirmed 7-days before travel.

On occasion we may need to make changes to the planned itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control. If this does happen we will get in touch to let you know the alternative arrangements.

And finally…

You are strongly advised to take out your own travel insurance to cover you for any emergency or cancellation or loss of luggage etc.

We have an ‘All Weather Policy’ which means the tour will go ahead come rain or shine unless the Met Office announces it is unsafe to travel. You are advised to check the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing and footwear.

Join us for a festive evening at the Royal Albert Hall carol concert. We have super seats booked in The Stalls, Section H and the concert starts at 19.30.
