Booking, terms and conditions

Thank you for your interest in joining one of our lovely tours. We welcome bookings by telephone enjoying the chance to talk directly to our customers and answer any questions. We will be joining you on the trip so this is often our first chance to get to know you. You can call us on 07892 953 217.

Alternatively you can book and secure your place by following  these instructions.

Step 1: Making your booking

Please complete your booking form and send it to us with a non-refundable deposit of £20 per person for our day tours and £50 per person for our holidays.  You can email the form to or post to: Jacky Burnell, Wisteria Tours, 46 Mayfield Grove, Shrewsbury, SY3 0JX.

Please indicate your method of payment on your form and tell us how we should contact you with your information about joining the tour on the day of travel. We will send this information out 7-10 days beforehand.

 Step 2: Select your pick up point

Pick up points for the coach are: Lakeside Yard, Ellesmere en route; Abbey Foregate Car Park, Shrewsbury and Telford Services if en route.

 Step 3:To make a payment:

Send a cheque made payable to Wisteria Tours Ltd to the address above.


Pay by BACS directly into Santander Bank: Account no 03578672 sort code 09-01-29, putting your name as the reference (in order to identify your payment).

Booking terms and conditions

Full payment is due ten weeks before the tour start date. We will send further details of arrangements for each tour 2 weeks before travel confirming the time of departure from your chosen pick up point.  If you do not receive these details please contact Wisteria Tours.

 Personal Insurance 

You are strongly advised to take out your own travel insurance to cover you for any emergency or cancellation or loss of luggage etc. Wisteria Tours will not be held responsible for closure of venues or changes to the tour itinerary. Under such circumstances every endeavour will be made to find an alternative. If one of the group members is taken ill or has an accident, Wisteria Tours will assist to the best of their ability but must reserve the right to carry on with the tour. It may be necessary to leave the tour member to rejoin later at his/her own expense.

We cannot accept liability for delays, disruption or cancellations of holidays due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, strikes or any other reasons outside of our reasonable control. Note: in the event you may be able to reclaim monies lost and expenses incurred subject to the conditions of your holiday insurance.

Conditions of carriage

We reserve the unconditional right to terminate a client’s holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct which causes, or in our opinion is likely to cause damage, distress, danger, or annoyance to other clients.  In the event our responsibility to you ceases and we will accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses you may incus.  Baggage allowance is one medium sized suitcase that weight no more than 18kgs. We reserve the right not to carry items that are deemed to be too large or heavy for the driver to load and/or fit into the luggage hold. Mobility Scooters are limited to one per coach on a first come first served basis due to the weight involved and space required in the luggage hold. The scooter must not weigh more than 23kgs.

 Disabled persons

We are not a specialist disabled holiday company, but we will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have.  We will provide you with as much information as possible regarding the suitability of accommodation and the itinerary, so you can make a more informed judgement before you book.


Please note that cancellation after booking will result in the loss of your deposit. If you cancel between the following days leading up to the tours you will be charged a percentage of the full cost as follows: 56-43 days from departure is 60%; 42-29 days is 70% and within 28 days is 100%.
