Who is a Wisteria Tours customer?

Our customers appreciate similar things – a love of visiting other people’s gardens and travelling in comfort to stunning locations throughout the UK. Further, they want to stay at lovely hotels, eat well and to feel welcome and at home with us.

Am I too young / too old (delete as appropriate) to go on a coach tour?

No. People of various ages travel with us and they come on their own, with friends and with partners. Our aim is simply to make all customers feel welcome. However, it’s quite usual for new customers to feel a little anxious about the prospect of booking a holiday and we’d encourage you to call us and find out more about how we might help you. Moreover, we do allocate coach seating in advance so we can usually accommodate special requests, whether it is concerning a mobility matter, a requirement for particular seats or just wanting to sit with friends.

Isn’t travelling by coach a bit old fashioned?

All of our coach transport is provided by Award winning Lakeside Coaches of Ellesmere. With a fleet of new, luxury coaches you can be assured of a smooth and comfortable ride with well-trained drivers that enjoy looking after their passengers. Additionally, we work with the same drivers so we all get to know each other and together we make a super team.

I’m not really a big walker: can I still enjoy your tours?

Absolutely! We plan our tours carefully so that you can choose whether you want to stride off around acres of parkland or take a short stroll then enjoy the view over a cup of tea and cake. It’s up to you. If you have mobility requirements call us for a chat and we will talk you through the venues we are visiting, what assistance is available and we can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

Will we spend hours driving around picking up other passengers?

We believe your holiday should start when you join the coach. That’s why we keep pick-ups to a minimum: we know you don’t want to spend 3 hours driving round the local area before getting on your way.  Our coaches pick-up at a limited number of central and convenient locations. Most coaches have an on-board facilities, however everyone appreciates a short break to stretch their legs so we have a comfort stop approximately every two hours, traffic permitting, and our drivers know all the best locations!

Aren’t the first and last days a bit boring with all the travel?

Going on holiday isn’t just about getting there. We believe the first day should be as stunning as the last, which is why we always break up the outward and return journey with a visit to a fabulous destination.
