Making your booking

Thank you for your interest in joining one of our lovely tours. We welcome bookings by telephone enjoying the chance to talk directly to our customers and answer any questions. We will be joining you on the trip so this is often our first chance to get to know you. You can call Jacky on 07892 953 217.

Alternatively you can book and secure your place by following  these instructions.

Option 1: Booking On-line

To reserve your place on your chosen tour select ‘Book Online’ and complete the booking form. You can pay the required deposit using the secure on-line payment option.

Option 2: Booking over the phone

Call Jacky during office hours on 07892 953 217 and she will be happy to take you through the process. To secure your place we ask for a non-refundable deposit of £30 per person for day trips and £150 per person for holiday tours.

We cannot take payments over the phone. Please see Making a payment, below, for how to pay.

Option 3: Booking by post

Please send a non-refundable deposit of £30 per person for day trips and £150 per person for holiday tours stating the tour you are booking. Please send a cheque amde payable to Wisteri aTorus Ltd to Jacky Burnell, Wisteria Tours, 46 Mayfield Grove, Shrewsbury, SY3 0JX.

Making a payment

We cannot take payments over the phone. You can either pay via BACs to Wisteria Tours Santander Account – Business Account number 03578672, sort code 09-01-29. Please put your name as the reference so we can identify your payment.

Alternatively send a cheque made payable to Wisteria Tours Ltd to Jacky Burnell, Wisteria Tours, 46 Mayfield Grove, Shrewsbury, SY3 0JX.

Travel information for joining a tour

Details will be published on the tour webpage 7-10 days before the start of the tour confirming the time of departure from your chosen pick up point.

We will also email or post the same information to you. If you have not heard from us 7-days before the start of the tour please check your email junk folder or contact Jacky@wisteriatours.com or call 07892 953 217.

Booking terms and conditions

Payment details: For day trips and UK holiday tours full payment is due 10 weeks before the tour start date. For European holiday tours full payment is due 14 weeks before the tour start date.

Personal Insurance: You are strongly advised to take out your own personal travel insurance. We cannot be responsible for closure of venues or changes to the trip itinerary. Under such circumstances every effort will be made to find an alternative. If someone is ill or has an accident, we will assist to the best of our ability but must reserve the right to carry on with the trip. It may be necessary for the group member to leave the trip and re-join later at his/her own expense.

We cannot accept liability for delays, disruption or cancellations of trips due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, strikes or any other reasons outside of our reasonable control. Note: you may be able to reclaim monies lost and expenses incurred subject to your holiday insurance.

Conditions of carriage: We reserve the unconditional right to terminate a client’s holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct which causes, or in our opinion is likely to cause damage, distress, danger, or annoyance to other clients.  In the event our responsibility to you ceases and we will accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses you may incur.

Baggage allowance is one medium sized suitcase that weight no more than 18kgs.  We reserve the right not to carry items that are deemed to be too large or heavy for the driver to load and/or fit into the luggage hold.

Mobility Scooters are limited to one per coach on a first come first served basis due to the weight involved and space required in the luggage hold to carry them. The scooter must not weigh more than 23kgs.

Mobility and access: We are not a specialist mobility and accessibility holiday company, but we will do our utmost to cater for any mobility and access requirements you may have.  We will provide you with as much information as possible regarding the suitability of accommodation and the itinerary, so you can make a more informed judgement before you book.

Cancellation in UK: Deposits are non-refundable. Once full payment has been made the following cancellation charges will apply: between 56-43 days notice before departure 60% of the costs are payable; between 42-29 days before departure, 70% of the costs are payable and within 28 days the full cost amount is payable.

Cancellation of European tours: A deposit £150 is due on reservation and is non-refundable. The full balance is due 14 weeks before the start date of the tour. Once full payment has been made the following cancellation charges will apply: between 14-10 weeks 50% of the costs are payable and from 10 weeks the full cost amount is payable.
