Thank you for your kind comments regarding how much you enjoyed Christmas lunch 2023 and having time to meet each other outside of the trips. Judging by the buzz in the room we think you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. It really was a special occasion.

We hope you can join us for another relaxing and sociable festive lunch where we look forward to welcoming you.

Jacky and Sue will meet you on arrival and welcome you to the lunch with a pre-lunch glass of bucks-fizz or a soft drink. A 3-course lunch, with 3 choices per course will be served in The Royalist Restaurant and dietary requirements will be catered for.

The menu will be circulated in advance and menu cards will be available on the day just in case you can’t remember your order! Finally, a pot of tea or coffee will be served at each table.

Tables will be set for between 4-10 guests and you are free to sit anywhere. You can even give us a call and ask for a table to be reserved for you if you are coming with a party.

Arrangements

Arrivals will be from 12.30 for drinks and lunch will be served at 13.00. Timings will be confirmed 10 days before the event.

MAIN DISHES

Traditional Roast Turkey with chestnut & sage stuffing,
pigs in blankets, duck fat roast potatoes and red wine gravy (N,W,SD)
Slow cooked Shropshire Beef with duck fat roast potatoes,
braised spiced red cabbage, roasted celeriac and red wine gravy (DS,Mu,Ce)
Roast cod loin, crushed herb potatoes, torched broccoli and dill butter sauce (F,M)
Mushroom, chestnut & kale parcel with crushed new potatoes and stilton sauce (M,Mu)

Booking your place

The cost for 3-course lunch, including a welcome drink, with tea or coffee and mints is £53 per person.

A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person is payable when booking. Full payment is due 10 weeks beforehand.
